God bless you! This is a very balanced, old Mulu Wongel teaching although it was not ariticulated in such an elaborated fashion in those days of the Ethiopian Revival. I am sure other churches might have had it. But, the new egocentric modern neo-liberalism highjacked the powerful orthodox message of the gospel, the old time religion.

The sovereignty of God should always dictate our desires, prayers and wishes rather rhan our physical healing. "By His stripes, we have been healed" cannot be attributed to our physical alone. The context is very clear that it was speaking of our salvation and redemption through the works of the mighty cross of Jesus Christ. We will not dilute and degrade it by attributing it to mere physical healing. The general blessings we enjoy as we follow our Savior including the good health, peace, joy wealth, etc., should not make or shake salvation. Every blessing stems from salvation for a child of God.

I don't know which article Servant Tegga is alluding to in his comment above. In what way is the story of Rastas, etc, "very balanced"? Compared to what? In fact my fear is that for some reason the writer at Ezra seems not to adequately disclose his sources for his articles posted in here.
